Wine at Rockliffe Hall

Our head sommelier, Grace Matterson, is one of the UK's rising stars within the wine industry and carefully selects an ever-changing selection of wines, working closely with Rockliffe's chefs to complement our food.

Our wine list for The Orangery- which includes some well-known names as well as some more unusual if you fancy trying something different- was shortlisted as a finalist for the imbibe Wine List of the Year 2011.

The Orangery

The Orangery is not only a dining experience to remember but also a chance to enjoy our carefully-chosen wines. Our sommelier team constantly reviews our wine selection to include a mix of familiar names and perhaps some that may surprise you.

One aspect remains however- all of our wines are specially-selected to complement Kenny's dishes and enhance your dining experience in The Orangery. Our team would be happy to discuss your tastes and, perhaps, show you around our new walk-in winery.

With over 500 bins, our ever-expanding selection of wines showcases a broad range of styles and grape varieties.Choose from fine wines made by iconic producers or a varied selection of some more unusual wines.Each and every wine on the list has been selected based on its exceptional quality and distinctive expression of terroir.

We offer sommelier matched wine pairing with our tasting menus in the 3AA Rosette Kenny Atkinson at the Orangery.

The Brasserie

In our Brasserie we have compiled a concise list of wines to complement our food and enhance your dining experience. Striving hard to find wines that are not generally available- such as the exceptional Australian 'Spee'Wah' Shiraz and the tantalising 'Kung Fu Girl' Riesling from Washington State- we have affordable wine from around the globe to suit everyone's taste.
