The Orangery has recently undergone something of a transformation- whilst maintaining its 19th Century charm, our triple AA Rosette restaurant's history combines perfectly with our mix of traditional and more modern, regional dishes.

Located in Rockliffe Hall's Old Hall, the 18th Century Orangery provides an intimate culinary experience, softly-lit by night, offering stunning views across 365 acres of woodland by day.

Take a tour of the region with dishes such as North East coast mackerel, Neasham beef, Cumbrian Lamb, Yorkshire rabbit and Yorkshire duck egg- all served in imaginative ways.
Our wine list created by Head Somellier, Grace Matterson includes a wide selection of carefully chosen wines to complement our food. Guests are also welcome to visit our walk in wine servery prior to dining to meet Grace and discuss wine pairing options. Please ask when booking to find out more.

Join us to enjoy a 'business breakfast' meeting, to wow clients or colleagues with an outstanding array of locally sourced and homemade products available from our continental selection and from the kitchen daily.
Breads and pastries are freshly baked, our eggs are from Yorkshire, fish fresh from the North Sea and meats from local farmers.
