Summer at The Clubhouse

It has been over 3 months since I last spoke to you and there has been lots going on here at The Clubhouse. Firstly I must let you know that our Bollywood inspired evening that we held on Friday 20th January was a great success! A cultural evening with background music and visuals playing throughout the evening, the highlight were the fantastic dancers, who were our staff beautifully dressed in original Saris, loaned to us by a lovely lady called Vaishali, who teaches at the local Art Centre.

Due to our continued learning and development of creeping bent grass which is the grass species which is being developed on our greens here at Rockliffe Hall, Davy Cuthbertson and I were invited across to Ireland by Everris, our main supplier of fertilizer and chemicals, to visit courses and talk with other course managers who manage creeping bent grass and share ideas and skills to improve our playing surfaces.
