The Festival of Food starts on Saturday 1st February 2020.
For the second year running, the Artisan Food Fair will begin the festival on the first weekend with the region's finest artisan food producers inviting visitors to sample and buy their products. Following this will be a series of special events taking place throughout the week, finishing with a Black Tie Gala Dinner on Saturday 8th February.
Throughout the festival, the money will be raised for charity partners, the Great North Air Ambulance Service and Hospitality Action.
