We know it can be a challenge to plan a family holiday to suit all ages and tastes so with Rockliffe Hall as your base, be assured that you have everything you need back at your five star home from home. 

You will all be set for the day with a hearty breakfast in the Orangery – choose from full English breakfast or something a little different such as American pancakes with bacon and lashings of maple syrup. 

Return to your luxury retreat after a full day out – head to the spa for a swim or just simply relax.

There are many options to decide between for the evening – flop in your room and order room service or head down to the Clubhouse for a British classic washed down with your favourite tipple… the tuck shop dessert should perk up your kids after a long day! 

You could even make use of Rockliffe Hall’s babysitting services and book a meal in one of the three restaurants whilst the kids are entertained or fast asleep!

Captain Cook Birthplace Museum

Tees Barrage
