Rockliffe Hall has expanded its marketing team to ensure service remains top notch with its increasing popularity after being named Large Hotel of the Year at the North East Tourism Awards.
Rockliffe Hall recently recruited Deborah Rocket into the role of marketing assistant.
Deborah, 21, a recent graduate of Newcastle University, has undertaken a number of impressive work placement opportunities and brings a broad range of experience to the role.
The new recruit said: “I am hoping that in my new role I can help expand on current successes, so that more guests come and enjoy this beautiful five star resort.
“I have a real passion for marketing, and having a great product to sell makes my job more interesting and exciting. So far, I have found that communication between the different departments is excellent, which has enabled me to get going in my role with ease.
“Spending time in each department to learn about the range of facilities across the resort has been fantastic, and of course, working in such beautiful surroundings a definite bonus!”
Deborah will be supporting the sales and marketing team by working across the entire Rockliffe offering, assisting with both website management and social media strategies, as well as direct and digital marketing campaigns.

Bursting with fresh ideas and enthusiasm, Deborah is demonstrating her ability to work closely with the other departments across the resort to develop our message to the public,so we continue to be the region’s most esteemed choice. Most importantly, Deborah has shown an understanding of the significance of getting our unique message spot on.”
Rockliffe Hall is currently placing a strong emphasis on investment into the resort’s facilities,in an attempt to draw more tourism to the area.
Deborah, from Darlington, adds: “Now well established, but in a time of investment, it is a fantastic time to join Rockliffe Hall and this role marks the start of a great career in marketing for me. My experience with social media and internet marketing will be incredibly useful and will be a big part of my role in assisting with even more award wins.”
