Here at Rockliffe Hall we rely on our biggest asset, our team, to make our guest experiences unique and memorable. Over the past two days a number of our Orangery kitchen team members have been contacted by NHS Test and Trace and asked to self-isolate.
While the team are all safe and well, we are sadly in a position where we are no longer able to operate the Orangery kitchen to the high levels of service that we aim to deliver as a five-star hotel, and have therefore taken the difficult decision to close the restaurant including Afternoon Tea, Spa Day lunches, Room Service and Dinner until Thursday 29th July.
This will allow our team members to stay safe and rest at home in accordance with the law and government requirements.
Breakfast in The Orangery will remain open for hotel guests and the pop up Veuve Clicquot Champagne Bar on the Terrace will remain open for drinks only. The Spa, Golf Course and Clubhouse restaurant will remain open as normal.
Our team are currently contacting all guests by priority of arrival date order, however should you wish to amend your upcoming booking if you are affected by this closure you can complete our booking amendment form here.
We would like to reassure any guests who are affected by this closure, that all guests will have complete flexibility to change their booking to a new date should they wish.
This decision has not been made lightly, but the health of our team members and guests remains our number one priority.
Rockliffe Hall is a Covid-secure business that has been awarded the AA Covid Confident shield, the VisitEngland ‘We’re Good to Go’ kitemark and most recently the global GBAC STAR accreditation for our agile and responsive approach to the ongoing pandemic.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your ongoing support of Rockliffe Hall.
Please stay safe and take care.
