Caudalie Comes to Rockliffe Hall

Rockliffe Spa are launching vinotherapie spa treatments inspired by the vineyards of Bordeaux.

We are excited to announce that we have secured an exclusive contract with the French beauty company, Caudalie, to be the only Spa in the North East to offer its extraordinary range of products and treatments.

The glamorous, ground-breaking skincare brand combines the latest scientific techniques with the ancient secrets from their vineyards in Bordeaux.

The founder of Caudalie, Mathilde Thomas, first became aware of the skincare benefits found in the bi-products of the wine industry in 1993. When she learned from Professor Joseph Vercauteren that her family’s vineyards were “throwing away treasures”, Mathilde became determined to harness the powerful benefits of grape-seed polyphenols. Two years later she founded Caudalie, which is still upheld by the three original patents of antioxidant polyphenol, anti-ageing resveratrol and brightening viniferine. Caudalie now offers youth-preserving skincare ranges for every stage of the ageing process, all now available in the Spa Boutique.

Our first-class therapists have been specially trained by Caudalie experts to be Vinotherapists who can now carry out exceptional face and body treatments with Caudalie products, acclaimed for their gorgeous textures and aromas, which are a delight on the skin whilst delivering exceptional results.

Caudalie dedicates 1% of its worldwide turnover to implementing environmental projects and since its creation has always favoured natural and environmentally friendly active ingredients, whilst containing 0% parabens, mineral oils, sodium laureth sulfate or animal ingredients, and is against animal testing.

The treatments are all in keeping with the vineyard theme, and include a range of massages and facials including the Wine Makers Massage, Crushed Cabernet Body Treatment and Premier Cru Facial.

The Signature Treatment – Vineyard Treasures – which is exclusive to Rockliffe Hall, celebrates the beautifying power of the grape and the winemaking process. The Vinotherapie back, face and scalp ritual commences with a crushed cabernet scrub and invigorating back massage with alternating techniques using bare hands and the wine maker’s tool for a deep tissue massage. This is followed by a bespoke Caudalie facial and then a Cranial Scalp massage completes the ritual to calm the mind and soothe the senses.

Treatment prices range from £90 to £120.

Victoria Rickett, Spa Manager says: “We are delighted to be introducing to Caudalie to our stable of products and treatments here at Rockliffe Spa. We held a series of ‘pop-up product weeks’ earlier in the year to trial several different ranges and Caudalie was an instant success with the therapists and our guests. It’s the perfect fit for Rockliffe Hall and will further enhance the exceptional offering we already have here.”

Tracy Brasenell, National Sales Manager at Caudalie says: “Caudalie sets the bar high for delivering results-driven treatments, so we are absolutely thrilled and delighted to launch at Rockliffe Hall. Our exclusive treatments have been designed to not only be truly unique, indulgent experiences, but also combine the latest research and technology to provide exceptional and visible results. Rockliffe Hall is a world class, award winning hotel and spa with an outstanding reputation, so it makes for a natural fit with Caudalie, and we’re really proud to be partnering with them and offering our treatments to their guests.’

Caudalie treatments will be available in the Spa from Saturday 1st October and a special launch evening will take place in the Old Hall on Monday 17th October, including a chance to try Caudalie’s products and sample their wines. More details to follow soon.
