Think While You Drink Gin, Wine & Beer Schools at the Artisan Food Fair

Partake in a Gin, Wine or Beer School event taking place at the Artisan Food Fair on 1st and 2nd February 2020...

Savour Magazine presents The Educational School of Alcohol with the Think While You Drink, Gin, Wine and Beer Schools. These schools take place in The Drawing Room and the Campernella, in the heart of Rockliffe Hall’s Old Hall and will be led by a team of experts who will guide each tasting. 

GIN SCHOOL - 12 noon and 3.15pm 

Saturday 1st February and Saturday 2nd February 2020

It’s back. Led by Ginstructors, the class will educate guests on the quintessential British spirit, with talks from artisan gin producers – including the UK’s smallest craft distillery. Attendees will get learn about flavour profiles and how to perfectly pair and garnish their gin. 

Note: please advise staff at the point of booking if you do not drink tonic as alternative mixers can be included. 

£25, 5 G&Ts and garnish included.

 

WINE SCHOOL WITH BON COEUR FINE WINES - 1.45pm 

Saturday 1st February and Sunday 2nd February 2020

Bon Coeur Fine Wines are one of Yorkshire’s leading wine merchants. Husband-and-wife team, James and Sam Goodhart, are experts when it comes to wine.For 25 years, the business in Melsonby, near Richmond, has been carefully selecting wine producers from all over the world, and everything from Provence rose, old world and new world wines feature in their wine store, Cellar 21. At Wine School, guests will learn the art of wine tasting, along with specially selected food pairings to make your wine sing! 

£25, 5 wine tastings and nibbles included.

 

BEER SCHOOL WITH THREE BROTHERS BREWING CO - 1.45pm

Saturday 1st February and Sunday 2nd February 2020

Don’t worry, be hoppy! From session beers to IPAs, let the Taste Bud Teachers take you on an unBEERevable journey of craft brews – and what nibbles to perfectly pair with those notes. 

£20, 5 beers included

Gin, Wine and Beer Schools

The Gin, Wine and Beer Schools are intimate events taking place in the Drawing Room and Campernella at Rockliffe Hall. Each session will be led by a team of experts.

Please note advanced booking is required with full pre-payment at the time of booking. All Gin, Wine and Beer School events are strictly for guests over the age of 18 years of age and a Challenge 25 policy will be in place on the day. Any guests who fail to provide identification on request will be asked to leave the event and forfeit their entry fee. The dress code for this event is relaxed and informal, and as some elements of the Artisan Food Fair are taking place outdoors you may want to bring a warm coat and comfortable shoes.
