From Thursday 31st December Rockliffe hall will now be located in a Tier 4 lockdown area until at least 18th January 2021. Areas which will remain closed include the hotel, restaurants and bars, the spa and gym, including beauty treatments, and any events which were scheduled to take place.
Please note this closure does not impact the golf course, which will remain open for members and visitors.
For guests arriving after 18th January 2021, please find below useful information for your visit. We continue to follow the advice of the Government and relevant professional bodies at all times.

Reception & Spa Boutique
Please have your temperature taken on arrival at the Spa. We kindly ask guests to wear a face covering in the Spa reception and changing areas along with the boutique. This can be removed once in the gym, classes or poolside.
We have removed testers from the Spa Boutique for now, please ask a member of the team should you wish to try any of the products.
Social distancing signage is in place and government guidelines mean we are only able to welcome a reduced number of guests, which will ensure you have plenty of your own space in this area.
Please try to spend as minimal amount of time as possible in this area to reduce the amount of people in the changing rooms and to help with social distancing.
You have access to the poolside area and hydropool side area, please try to remain at a minimum of 1 metre distance from others. There is also a virtual poolside tour available on our new app which our receptionists can show you.
The juice bar is serving tea, coffee and smoothies. When booking a Spa Garden session, a small menu is available with alcoholic beverages. Payment can be made at the Juice Bar by Chip & Pin, Contactless and ApplePay. Please note it is no longer possible to pay by cash at Spa Reception.
You can also help yourself to complimentary water and iced tea.
The poolside heat treatment rooms, as well as the sauna in the Spa Garden and Mud Rasul experiences are now available (from 2nd October 2020).
As you settle into your lounger you may notice brochures and magazines have been removed, but a much wider offering is now available for you to read, via a complimentary online service available to guests.
You can also be certain that the entire spa has been cleaned prior to opening and you’ll regularly see our team on poolside and in the changing rooms, sanitising high touch points including door handles, toilets and railings.
Equipment is spaced at least 1 metre apart where possible, shielded by screens or in designated zones.
A reduced class list is available to book through the MyWellness app at the usual 7 days in advance.
Rather than offering you our usual warm handshake your therapist will welcome you with a traditional Thai hands-free greeting.
For manicures a Perspex screen is in place. For all other treatments your therapist will wear a visor and mask, in line with the latest Government guidance.
Each treatment now commences with the ‘A New Beginning’ sanitising welcome ritual. Therapists will invite you to follow along with a hand sanitisation which then focuses on pressure points, reinforcing meridian lines on the hands, an application of Tranquillity blend and breath work concludes the ritual.
