A double win for Rockliffe Hall at the North East & North West Professional Golfers' Association competitions at Ramside Hall

Rockliffe Hall Golf is delighted to celebrate a double win at Ramside Hall for the North East & North West Professional Golfers' Association competitions. Simon Robinson, Rockliffe Hall’s Head of Instruction (PGA professional and former European Tour Member) won the Matchplay Championship and James Maw (PGA Assistant Professional at Rockliffe Hall) won the Assistants Championship.

The competitions took place on Monday 16th September at Ramside Hall Golf Club on the Prince Bishops Course. Simon Robinson beat Jonathan Lupton (Close House) in the semi-final and Michael Pilgrim (Bishop Auckland) in the final.

Michael Pilgrim beat David Clark (Morpeth) at the twentieth to play Simon Robinson in the final.

James Maw won the Assistants' Championship with level par 72, one shot ahead of his nearest opponents.

77 - Ryan Pittiglio (Close House)

78 - Craig Smith (Close House)

82 - Darren Grey (Ingleby Barwick)

84 - Simon Kerr (Brampton GC)
