Access for All

Rockliffe Hall is committed to providing the highest standards of customer care to each and every guest no matter what their different needs may be. We aim to make our hotel facilities available and accessible to all of our guests equally. To ensure our facilities may be enjoyed by all we offer:

Ample wide parking bays within close proximity to each of the entrances to Rockliffe Hall.

Lowered curb access to all entrances of the hotel.

The desks at reception are lowered to make them more accessible to all of our guests.

Each of our 7 DDA compliant bedrooms features extra wide doorways, lower hanging rail and higher sockets and a wide door in to the bathroom.

The spacious bathroom has been designed to be a wet room environment with a support chair and grab rails in the shower, and a lowered bath (which still features the tile Television).

Across the hotel the doors are wider than standard DDA guidelines, and double doors are in place where possible.

The heights of the tables, and the space between them, are at the right height and width for wheelchair users and we have lifts to all floors, and ramp access to areas on higher and lower levels.

Guests with hearing impairments are provided with a vibrating pillow in case of fire evacuation. Guests are also provided with personal alarms.

We welcome guide dogs to the hotel.

We are a progressive company and we would willingly discuss any specific needs with the individual.

We are also currently sourcing potable hearing loop system which can be provided by prior arrangement and audio-menus for visually impaired guests.
