Festival of Food Main Sponsor Announced

Goodfellows announced as main sponsor for Rockliffe Hall’s inaugural Festival of Food...

Rockliffe Hall is delighted to announce it has teamed up with premier tableware supplier, Goodfellows, as the main sponsor for the five star resort’s forthcoming Festival of Food.

“Goodfellows has been my favourite crockery supplier for The Orangery for many years,” says Richard Allen, Executive Chef, The Orangery. “So, it’s fitting that they’ve agreed to be the main sponsor of the event and it’s fantastic to have a North East company on board, so that we can shout loud and proud about what the region has to offer in the culinary world.”

“Their crockery is stunning and provides the perfect canvas for the beautiful dishes we present in The Orangery.”

In addition to being the main sponsor of Rockliffe’s first ever Festival of Food and Artisan Food Fair, Goodfellows will provide all of the guest chefs cooking during the week with bespoke chef whites.

Chefs including Andrew Pern, Mark Greenaway and Mark Jordan will be cooking at special events throughout the festival which runs from February 2nd to 10th 2019. There’ll also be special dinners created by the hotel’s three executive chefs, Richard Allen, Paul O’Hara and Aaron Craig, with more exciting events yet to be announced.

Valda Goodfellow, co-owner of Goodfellows, says: “We are so excited to be the main sponsor for this inaugural event. I think it is a really big deal to have all these amazing chefs involved in one event. We have never had anything like this before in the area and naturally we had to support it.”

“I think the Artisan Food Fair will really showcase what great local producers we have and we are supporting that with our Goodfellows at Home brand for those serious home cooks who want to buy the tableware that the chefs use.”
