Rockliffe Hall Scoops Three Awards at the 59Club Service Excellence Awards
Rockliffe Hall has been awarded three accolades at the 59club Service Excellence Awards, hosted at Celtic Manor Resort on 26th March 2026.
Rockliffe Hall has been recognised with three titles at this year’s 59club Service Excellence awards, with Head of Golf Tom West named ‘Golf Manager of the Year’ and his team recognised as ‘Golf Operations Team of the Year’. The resort also achieved the coveted Golf Flag Resort status for the tenth consecutive year, further cementing its reputation for excellence.
The annual awards celebrate some of Europe’s most prestigious and well-loved venues, highlighting outstanding teams, individuals and destinations across the golf, leisure and spa industry.
The winners are determined by scores gathered from an independent panel of mystery visitors, who assess the experience offered to visiting golfers and prospective members against 59club’s objective benchmarking criteria. Each venue is evaluated across key areas including sales, service, operations, retail, golf course, food and beverage, and management.
Designed by renowned course architects Hawtree, Rockliffe Hall’s 18-hole championship golf course is widely regarded as one of the longest and most challenging in Europe. Complementing the course is a fully stocked Pro Shop, extensive practice facilities and driving range, a luxurious yet relaxed clubhouse serving high-quality food, and a dedicated golf services team.
A new chapter for Rockliffe Hall begins this summer. Until then, we welcome you to unwind in the five-star luxury of our resort, set in 375 acres of County Durham countryside.
Rockliffe Hall has been shortlisted in six categories of the 59club Service Excellence Awards 2026 - widely considered to be the golf industries 'Oscars'.
Rockliffe Hall is delighted to announce the return of James Maw, who this month steps into the role of Head PGA Teaching Professional at the Rockliffe Golf Academy.
