The eagerly awaited 2018 ‘Hoteliers’ Hotel top 100 list has been revealed and we are delighted that Rockliffe Hall has been named the number one hotel in the North of England, by the country’s leading hoteliers. The resort is also the second highest ranking golf resort to feature in the list.
Compiled by the UK’s leading hoteliers and verified by some of the nation’s pre-eminent hotel experts, including hotel reviewer of The Telegraph, Fiona Duncan, Chief Advisor on awards and quality for the AA, Giovanna Grossi, and senior editors at The Caterer, the full list was revealed at a glittering reception at London’s Hotel Café Royal.
"Hoteliers are the best judges of the UK hotel industry and the Hoteliers’ Hotels Top 100 showcases a wide breath of properties that celebrates our Great British hotels, from the best service and design to exquisite food and beverage.”
Chris Gamm, Editor of The Caterer
“We’re delighted to be involved in Hoteliers’ Hotels for the third year. What sets it apart is that it is voted for by the people who know the hotel industry the best – the hoteliers themselves. They know what it takes to create the ultimate guest experience and provide a home-from-home where guests can truly relax and unwind.”
Bronwyn Groves, Sales Director at Sky
“We are thrilled to not only feature once again in this prestigious list but to have climbed 8 places, a true testament to our world class service and hardworking staff. To once more be recognised as the highest ranking hotel in the north of England and the second best hotel golf resort in the country, only behind Gleneagles, is another fantastic achievement for Rockliffe and everyone who works here.”
Eamonn Elliott, Chief Executive at Rockliffe Hall
Rockliffe Hall has relaunched its golf academy with a world-class, multi-award-winning golf coach at the helm. Stuart Clayton, formerly of PMG Academy, has joined Rockliffe Hall to lead the academy and develop a coaching program that unlocks the potential of any golfer.
