Rockliffe Hall has been named as Large Hotel of the Year at the North East England Tourism Awards for the second year running.
The North East England Tourism Awards (NEETA) celebrate quality, innovation and best practice throughout the region, showcasing the fantastic range of high quality experiences on offer for visitors in the North East.
Rockliffe Hall was announced as the gold award winner for the Large Hotel of the Year at a glittering award ceremony held on Thursday 29th February at the Newcastle Civic Centre.
The Large Hotel of the Year award celebrates hotels with over 35 rooms who offer outstanding service and a first-rate guest experience. Winning this award means that Rockliffe Hall will go on to represent the region at the national VisitEngland Awards for Excellence later this year.
On the same evening the resort was also awarded 59 Club ‘Gold Flag’ status for the Championship standard 18-hole golf course for the eight consecutive year.
A golden evening indeed!
