The Champagne Soak has been created to harness all the skincare and wellbeing benefits of the fizzy favourite.
The 30 minute treatment is the epitome of extravagance, costing £300 per person, and takes place in the Spa’s outdoor hot tub, which is filled with Perrier Jouët.
Studies have shown that bathing in champagne can help detoxify the skin with antioxidants while lightening tartaric acid helps even out the skin tone. For those with oily skin, the drink’s antibacterial properties also aid in treating breakouts.
Guests using the Champagne Soak can drink as much champagne as they like during the 30 minute treatment, which contains magnesium, potassium and zinc, all good for boosting the mind while special proteins found in fizz have been proven to enhance short term memory.
Victoria Rickett, Spa Manager says: “We all know that champagne makes us feel great on the inside, and many of our guests enjoy a glass or two of bubbly whilst relaxing in our Spa, but we’ve now recognised the fabulous additional benefits of the beverage. It brightens the skin, boosts clarity of tone and, of course, brings a deep sense of contentment.”
