A167 Road Closure

For any guests travelling to Rockliffe Hall along the A167 (from Northallerton), please be aware that there is currently a road closure in place outside Dalton-on-Tees/Croft-on-Tees that may affect your journey time to us. A diversion is in place via Girsby (entering Hurworth via Dinsdale), or alternatively, you can travel via Scorton and Middleton Tyas on the B6271. We encourage guests to check their journey time using a live app such as Google Maps or Apple Maps to plan their journey.

By Car

• 5 minutes drive from junction 57 of the A1M (if travelling from the South) or 10 minutes from junction 58 of the A1M (if travelling from the North).
• 30 minutes drive from the historic city of Durham and the North Yorkshire coast of Saltburn.
• 1 hour from Newcastle, York, Harrogate and the Lake District.

• Darlington train station is 10 minutes by taxi from Rockliffe and Darlington is a mainline station accessible from most parts of the UK.
