The Alpine Terrace

You're invited to experience the magic of the mountains, reimagined at Rockliffe Hall.

From James Close and team comes a new concept, inspired by the spirit of après ski and the flavours of the Alps.

From live music sessions setting an upbeat vibe to cosy corners perfect for sipping steaming mulled wine or hot chocolate, it’s an atmosphere that balances cosy luxury with the joy of the slopes.

A winter of wonder begins here.

Every Friday (3-9pm), Saturday & Sunday (12-9pm) from 21st November to 21st December. Then daily until 4th January  (excluding Christmas Day).

No bookings required for residents and non-residents.

A Taste of the Alps

Created by Rockliffe’s culinary team, led by James Close, the Alpine Terrace menu celebrates the hearty, indulgent flavours of the mountains.

Expect melting raclette, Vacherin Mont D’Or with cornichons and warm baguette, Bavarian bratwurst with sauerkraut and crispy onions and even Petrossian caviar served with blinis and crème fraiche for a touch of decadent glamour.

Pair your food with a crisp glass of Champagne PIAFF, ice-cold Bavarian beer or a steaming mug of mulled wine. And for those seeking a little après-ski indulgence, Aperol Spritz and boozy hot chocolates promise to keep spirits bright.
