The Ultimate Garden Party

In association with La Di Da Magazine and Rockliffe Hall, to raise funds for two charities, Headway and Brain Tumour Research.

On September 24th 2017, Rockliffe Hall is hosting an exclusive Garden Party in the resort’s beautiful grounds to raise money for two charities, Headway and Brain Tumour Research, in memory of Middlesbrough magician, Paul Daniels, who died last year, a month after being diagnosed with a brain tumour.

The event will feature a performance by the North East’s very own ‘Kylie of Opera’, Annette Wardell. Supporting entertainment will include the Northern Doctors Chorus and many more. Guests will also be able to purchase Afternoon Tea hampers, with a personal butler service; there’ll be fabulous food, craft ale, gin and champagne pop up stalls, and it’s hoped more money will be raised through a raffle and silent auction.

There’s a range of packages available to this family-friendly event with family tickets including entry to Rockliffe Hall’s new ‘Mischmasch’ Alice in Wonderland themed parkland, and VIP options available including accommodation and an after party in the Old Hall featuring private performances from the star guests. You can even bring your posh pooch along!

VIP Tickets  - £350 per person
Enjoy a Champagne brunch served on arrival, VIP front row reserved seating for the garden party and a butler served Afternoon Tea Hamper with your choice of either Champagne or Hendricks and Tonic. Meet and greet all artists from the day and enjoy access to the exclusive after party in the Old Hall featuring private performances from the star guests and a BBQ. Overnight accommodation in Tiplady Lodge bedroom is provided, including use of the spa and breakfast (supplements apply for upgraded room types). VIP tickets also include an event programme and complimentary tea, coffee and sparkling water throughout the day.  

Platinum Tickets - £75 per person
Enjoy platinum reserved seating for the afternoon event, with a butler served Afternoon Tea Hamper including delicious sandwiches and elegant sweet treats served with your choice of traditional tea or coffee. A complimentary programme for the day and blankets (if required) are included.

Family Tickets - £145 for two adults and two children (up to 12 years of age)
Enjoy family area general admission seating for the afternoon event, with a butler served family Afternoon Tea Hamper including delicious sandwiches and elegant sweet treats served with your choice of traditional tea or coffee (and soft drinks for the children). Families can enjoy access to Rockliffe Hall’s ‘Mischmasch’ Alice in Wonderland themed parkland and blankets can be provided, if required.  

General Admission - £45 per person
Enjoy general admission seating for the afternoon event to enjoy all entertainment. A range of pop up bars are available onsite including pop up Champagne, Gin and Craft Ale, and catering options will be available. (Please note butler served Afternoon Tea can be added, but must be ordered in advance of the event). Blankets will be available on request.

Annette Wardell
Recently featured in British Vogue, Annette is one of music’s rising new stars. Born in Scarborough and brought up in the North East, the soprano opera singer remains true to her down to earth Northern roots, which she acknowledges to be the secret to her success. She has sung her way into the nation’s hearts, and brought audiences around the globe her very special and intensely unique style of performing. One of her highlights was performing at FA Cup Final to a worldwide audience of 280 million. She combines versatility, charm and humour with a truly world class voice, and effortlessly interprets the musical spectrum, from opera to Lady GaGa. At Rockliffe, she’ll be accompanied by the Lochrian Ensemble who are frequently heard on television with recordings including the score for Wolf Hall, which was recently number one in the charts.

The Northern Doctors Chorus
Established in 2012, under the guidance of Dr Malcolm Moffat, the Northern Doctors Chorus is a choir of doctors and senior medical students from the North East. Current members are based in hospitals and GP practices in Newcastle, Gateshead, South Tyneside, North Tyneside, Northumberland, County Durham and Teesside. They’ve performed at various venues including Saint Nicholas’ Cathedral, St. Mary’s Cathedral and Newcastle City Hall.

Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer – yet just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this devastating disease. Brain Tumour Research aims to build a network of experts in sustainable brain tumour research and ultimately find a cure for brain tumours.Headway is the UK-wide charity that works to improve life after brain injury. Though its network Headway provides support, services and information to brain injury survivors, their families and carers, as well as to professionals in the health and legal fields.

Tickets are to be fully prepaid at the time of booking and are non-refundable or transferable. Please be advised that we recommend purchasing insurance for this event as no refunds will be given under any circumstances. Please note this event will take place outside, and blankets will be available for all guests upon request. VIP tickets, including accommodation, are based on two sharing a Tiplady Lodge bedroom. Upgrades are available.
