Our hands are exposed to a variety of experiences, from harsh weather to washing those dishes therefore it is important to look after them and give them a well-deserved treat!
The manicure treatment at Rockliffe Hall is part of the OPI ProSpa Professional Spa Manicure and Pedicure Services and is the crème de la crème of manicures.
First your nails will be prepped with the nail file to your desired nail shape, work will be done on your cuticles and buffing to make nails smooth and shiny.
You will benefit from unparalleled exfoliation using a sugar scrub. The dead skin cells will be removed preparing the skin for the upcoming products and is an essential part of encouraging new skin cell growth, important for ensuring nails are strong and healthy. Your hands will be left feeling smooth and soft.
A clay mask and heated mitts will then be applied whilst you enjoy a wellbeing hot cup of tea. The heat from the mask opens the pores and allows the product work to a deeper level of the skin. A rich cream is used to carry out a hand and arm massage using a combination of massage techniques and acupressure relaxing tired muscles and relieving stress and tension, also providing moisture and protection. Massage is a great way to encourage blood flow which can help aches and pains.
This wonderful process is finished with a polish of your choice of Infinite shine lacquer or GelColor. The polishes are also available in the Spa Boutique so guests can purchase the colour if they wish.
If you need gel removal, this can be booked and the GelColor is gently removed and nails are prepped for a new set of GelColor or left nourished with cuticle oil.
Treatments Manager, Sarah Usher is an award-winning nail expert conducts training for the therapists at Rockliffe Hall to ensure they all have the highest of standards leaving guests wowed with their look.
Sarah says:
“At Rockliffe hall we aim for a much more luxury pamper experience than what you would receive on the high street. We want clients to experience the same level of experience in a manicure or pedicure as they would do in a full body massage. We take our hands for granted even more so during Covid with the use of all the hand sanitisers, now it’s time to start looking after ourselves again and this includes our hand using lots of rich luxury products leaving the spa relax and ready to go”.
