Rock Star of the Month

Congratulations to Samantha Duncanson for being crowned Rock Star of the Month for March!

A true Rockliffe Rock Star, Samantha is the Commercial Co-ordinator and works across the reservations, marketing and events departments.

Colleagues voted for Samantha as she has been a rock within the Commercial team, helping where needed and bringing a bright positive attitude to any team she works within.

Team members who voted for Samantha also said she has been a saviour to the marketing department this month. She stepped in to help when another member of the team had to unexpectedly take some emergency leave, and quickly learned how to create emails and to use Canva design software with little guidance - she's a natural. Samantha has been making website amendments, image resizing, designing menus and other small projects this whole month and she's done it all with a smile, nothing is too much trouble and without her help we would have been struggling to get all the campaigns out the door. One particular project I'd really like to recognise Samantha for doing is for taking owenership of our monthly Team newsletter. Samantha has created the newsletter from scratch this month, writing articles, sourcing information, images, chasing departments for content and ensuring our 'Rocky Round Up' is the best it's ever been.

Samantha works in reservations, events and marketing, she’s a very flexible and helpful person. The last few weeks when the marketing team were limited and needed extra support, she really stepped up to help out and we’re very grateful.

Samantha joined Rockliffe with no marketing experience and has been supporting the marketing department three days per week. Samantha is now confidently now able to amend website pages, update menus and she sent her first eshot this month which was the Rockie Roundup. Not only does Samantha support the marketing team but she has been supporting the reservations team during holidays and peak periods and ensures calls are always answered. She's really appreciated within the team.

As with all of our Rock Stars, the winner is chosen by the team members themselves.

A massive well done to Samantha, very well deserved.
