We’re proud to announce our latest senior hires. Katie Towersey joins as Spa Director and Callum Nicoll joins as Director of Golf.

Katie Towersey has been appointed as the new Spa Director for Rockliffe Hall, the five-star luxury golf and spa resort in the County Durham countryside. Towersey takes over from Victoria Rickett who spent 10 years at Rockliffe Hall.

Towersey has over 20 years of experience within the spa & wellness industry, with several years spent working with iconic brands such as Jurlique, ESPA and L’Occitane. Towersey joins from her most recent position as Spa Manager at Verbena Spa at Feversham Arms Hotel, which followed Spa Manager roles at The Peak Health Club & Spa at Jumeirah Carlton Tower in London and SoSPA Sofitel London St James.

Towersey will be responsible for Rockliffe Hall’s award-winning 50,000 square feet spa, one of the most luxurious and also largest in the country. She will be working alongside Rockliffe Hall’s carefully chosen spa partners Neom, Comfort Zone, and OPI to bring a refreshed offering of first-class treatments.

Callum Nicoll joins Rockliffe Hall as Director of Golf where he will oversee the resort’s award-winning 18-hole championship golf course. Designed by Hawtree, the world-renowned course architects, the course is one of the most challenging in Europe and is set on the 375-acre Rockliffe Hall estate.

With over 20 years in the professional golf industry, Nicoll also boasts nine years international experience in the Middle East where he was a senior team member hosting three Abu Dhabi HSBC Championships. Nicoll joins from his most recent position as Director of Golf at London Golf Club where he was responsible for a 36-hole course delivering 44,000 rounds per annum. Nicoll has also held senior golf positions at Turnberry Hotel’s Golf Resort & Spa, Prestwick Golf Club, The Els Club Dubai and Abu Dhabi Golf Club.
