Rockliffe Hall Named in UK’s Top 5 Spas

The Rockliffe Hall Spa has been named in the top five of the UK’s most luxurious spas!

The Good Spa Guide has introduced a new category of ‘5 Bubble Luxury’ and has nominated just five UK spas within this category, us here at Rockliffe being one of them.

We were already very proud to have been previously awarded five ‘Bubbles’ by the Good Spa Guide, but now we have clinched this top five position- the only one in the North of England! Big congratulation to the other four spas in the top five: – Lucknam Park, Wiltshire; Pennyhill Park, Surrey; The Vineyard, Berkshire and Dormy House Hotel and Spa, Worcestershire.

This award means so much to us because The Good Spa Guide is considered the expert guide to the best spas and treatments in the industry and all establishments must undergo an assessment process. The new award recognises spas that have shone under the spotlight of the expert assessment by the Good Spa Guide Spa Spies. The Spa Spies look at everything from spectacular facilities, soothing and enriching treatments, fabulous food to faultless customer service. To receive a ‘5 Bubble Luxury’ award, spas have to go above and beyond to achieve spa excellence.

Following an extensive and thorough review by a mystery ‘Spa Spy’, the Good Spa Guide said that Rockliffe Hall demonstrated a“combination of luxury, good facilities and great treatments with a carefully designed spa journey and high standards of cleanliness.” The Spa Spy added that Rockliffe Hall was “the perfect ‘5 Bubble’ experience” and had “high service levels that will meet the most demanding of standards.”

In addition, the Good Spa Guide recently sent one of its ‘Celebrity Spa Spies’ to Rockliffe Hall. Joanne Harris, the celebrated author of- amongst many others- Chocolat, which was made into an Oscar-nominated film, visited Rockliffe Hall and said that “the attention to detail was impressive” and the spa offered “blissful relaxation” while the treatments left her “wholly, marvellously relaxed.”
