Rockliffe Hall Spa Senior Therapist and Nail Specialist, Sarah Usher has won a national nail industry award.

Hard work, talent and passion paid off at the weekend for Sarah Usher as she was presented with the Scratch Star Award for Pedicurist of the year 2015; also a finalist in last year’s competition Sarah was delighted to scoop this prestigious accolade. “Making a guest feel special, relaxed and beautiful through nail services is my passion, this award has given me the confidence and extra push to dedicate my career to training and motivating others into this beautiful and fulfilling career.”

The glittering event was held at the lavish ‘Café de Paris’ in London’s iconic Piccadilly Circus. Legends and innovators from the Nail Industry were out in force to celebrate the UK nail industry’s best and brightest talent. Nail Supremos Lena White, Leighton Denny and Samuel Sweet were there championing the continued innovation and burgeoning talent in nail services.

Scratch Magazine LogoThe handsome television presenter Gethin Jones presented Sarah with her award and much to her delight told her she looked beautiful! She promptly invited him for a round of golf at Rockliffe. On announcing Sarah as the winner the judges said “The winner had aftercare info to hand, a well presented set-up and gave a really luxurious finish.” To enter Sarah had submitted a gallery of her work and was shortlisted to attend a day at London College of Beauty for a practical judging session.
