Rockliffe Hall has won a top accolade at the Good Spa Guide awards
The five star resort in Hurworth, near Darlington, picked up the award for Best Spa for Wellness at a gala dinner at the Spa Life conference in Coventry on Monday night (11th November).
Recognised as the UK’s leading authority on the spa industry, the Good Spa Guide awards acknowledge the best spas in the industry. This is a major coup for Rockliffe Hall’s Spa which recently had an extensive update with the introduction of new thermal rooms and experience features to further enhance the resort’s five star offering.
Alistair Bramwell, Spa Operations Manager, says: “We’re thrilled to have won this award. Any award is very welcome but the fact that we have won the top industry award for wellness is especially meaningful having made this area a key focus of our spa over the last 12 months. We try to encourage our visitors, and those new to the spa experience, that a spa day or spa stay is about self-care, putting yourself first and improving your wellbeing and this award proves we’re heading in the right direction.”
Caitlin Dalton, Editor of The Good Spa Guide, says: “We’re delighted to highlight and reward UK spa excellence through our awards. This year there’s been some incredible new and refurbished spas and facilities, showcasing the finest technology, design and planning. The results are the latest work in luxury for an audience that is increasingly seeking relaxation and an escape from everyday life.”
Rockliffe Hall has been named a winner at the Hotel Cateys 2022, with Commercial Director, Teresa Kingston, winning the sought-after Revenue Manager of the Year award, whilst the hotel was shortlisted for the Best Use of Technology and House Keeper of the Year awards.
Celebrated chef Paul Nicholson will become Head Chef of the flagship Orangery restaurant later this month.
Rockliffe Hall scoops the ‘Luxury Spa of the Year’ award at the North East Beauty Industry Awards.
