The Spa at Rockliffe Hall has been shortlisted for a top industry award.

The five-star resort in County Durham has been selected as one of seven finalists in the Large Spa of the Year category at the Professional Beauty Awards 2022, considered to be the ‘Oscars’ of the beauty industry.

The overall winners will be announced at a black-tie dinner on Sunday 3rd July at the Park Plaza Westminster Bridge, London.

This exciting news comes soon after the Rockliffe Hall team won ‘Best Spa Experience’ at the 59Club awards earlier this spring.

Finalists will now go on to the second round of the judging process which involves virtual visits and interviews with some of the industry’s leading professionals.

The overall winners will be announced at a black-tie dinner on Sunday 3rd July at the Park Plaza Westminster Bridge, London.

Ashley Freeman, Spa Manager at Rockliffe Hall, said: “We are delighted to be shortlisted as a finalist in the Professional Beauty awards. Since the Covid pandemic we have worked incredibly hard to enhance each and every one of our Spa guest touch points with significant investment within the Spa itself and in team member training and wellbeing. We’ve also introduced a number of new treatment experiences and a brand-new Spa dining experience, Nu Sana, which opened last September.”

Jason Adams, Managing Director at the five-star resort, added: “The Professional Beauty awards are considered one of the biggest awards within the industry, and to be shortlisted as a finalist is a testament to the fantastic offering within the Spa at Rockliffe Hall, which is without a doubt one of the finest spa and wellness facilities in the country.”

At this year’s annual awards, there are 14 categories celebrating outstanding efforts of businesses and individuals in the beauty, spa and nails industry recognising those that are raising standards with outstanding treatment skills, customer service and team development.

Good luck team.
