Alan Shearer and Tony Pulis were among those taking part in the event on Wednesday 24th October.
The 19 teams enjoyed breakfast rolls and hot drinks before heading out on onto the course. A two-course dinner awaited golfers on their return to the Clubhouse followed by a prize giving for beat the pro, nearest to the pin and longest drive. There was also an auction for big prizes of an overnight stay for 2 with dinner at Rockliffe Hall and Close House.
The golf event raised a total of £4000 which adds to £3000 already raised by Rockliffe Hall’s Chief Executive, Eamonn Elliott, and his close friend Paul Graham. They recently completed the epic Wales End to End cycling challenge, when they cycled over 250 miles and climbed over 21,000ft.
Eamonn, who also played in the competition, said: “It was an honour to host this fabulous event at Rockliffe Hall and we’re delighted to have helped raise so much money for the Teenage Cancer Trust.”
