Launching this month, the scheme will be available for event planners and venues to use to facilitate more meeting and small business event bookings despite the restrictions that are in place.
Rockliffe Hall can safely accommodate business meetings and events for up to 30 guests in many of the resorts Covid-secure spaces. What’s more, event bookers using the scheme can also enjoy a unique offer to book a WFRH (working from Rockliffe Hall) package from as little as £25 per day including VAT.
Teresa Kingston, Commercial Director at the five-star resort in Darlington said: “It has been devastating to see the impact of the Covid19 pandemic on the events industry, and here at Rockliffe we would like to do everything we can to support event bookers and businesses. We are lucky to have a number of multi-functional event spaces and meeting rooms that can be safely used by organisers following the rule of 30.”
“We have also been working hard during lockdown on a number of new initiatives to enhance our existing events offering, and have developed new individual bento box style delegate lunches, along with completely overhauling our conference delivery to ensure all Government guidelines are followed.”
“During lockdown we conducted a Conference and Events survey, and know that many of our bookers see the benefits of using offsite venues to host events in order to boost team wellbeing and productivity.”
“As so many businesses have had employees working from home, a small off-site meeting can be a great way to bring teams together and unite. We have such a fantastic range of activities available on offer here at the resort too, including wellbeing walks, forest bathing, Championship golf, team building spaces and more.”
The Meet Out to Help Out scheme will run for a minimum of 6 months, with the organisers anticipating it could potentially be extended until the end of 2021.
